Project Overview

Flaat Studio developed a website for Vyan Abimanyu, a professional tour guide in Bali. This platform was designed to increase digital visibility, make it easier for travelers to find an experienced guide, and facilitate direct consultation.

Challenge & Background

Despite extensive experience, Vyan struggled to reach potential clients online. Travelers often hesitated to choose a guide due to a lack of credible, transparent information before booking. This website bridges that trust gap.

Flaat Studio's Role

Flaat Studio was fully responsible for development, from concept to launch. We collaborated closely with the UI designer to ensure every visual detail was translated with precision into optimal code.

Design Approach & User Experience

The website flow follows a natural story: introducing Vyan → exploring destinations → inviting visitors to get in touch. An interactive map helps travelers visualize routes and experience Vyan's local knowledge. The design is optimized for mobile, considering travelers' habit of accessing information on the go.

Technology Solutions Implemented

We chose technology that supports fast access and search engine discoverability. Smooth animations were added to enrich the experience without slowing down the site, keeping visitors comfortable while browsing.

Obstacles & How We Overcame Them

High-quality heavy videos were optimized using smart compression formats and lazy loading techniques, so they wouldn't slow down access. For complex mobile displays, we created custom layouts that maintain visual beauty without sacrificing navigation ease.

Results & Learnings

After launch, the quality of inquiries from potential clients improved: travelers directly discussed specific itineraries, proving the website successfully educated and naturally filtered prospects. Key lesson: a tourism website is not just a visual gallery, but a trust-building tool that directly impacts conversions.
